Seeking a skilled Imaging professional with experience as an IR Tech for a contract opportunity. This role offers a 13-week assignment and requires advanced technical ability in interventional radiology, with duties carried out primarily on weekdays and some on-call obligations.

Schedule:

  • Mainly four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (may occasionally require five shifts, based on staff levels)
  • Weekly hours: 36–40
  • Shift start time: 7:00 AM
  • On-call rotation: 7 days within every 5-week period, including one Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Weekend and holiday work only when aligned with on-call schedule or if a holiday falls within your assignment

Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT credential required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • At least 2 years of IR experience, with demonstrated expertise in both peripheral and neuro procedures
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and calmly in urgent scenarios
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality patient care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Operate and maintain IR imaging equipment, following protocols and quality standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Prepare and support patients before, during, and after IR procedures
  • Document all interventions and related information accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
