Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a contract position in Danbury, CT. This role requires proficiency in imaging with a focus on interventional radiology techniques. Candidates should have a strong background in operating and maintaining IR equipment, ensuring patient safety, and assisting physicians during procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Every other week includes additional responsibilities for bowel prep studies (EOWBLS)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure proper patient positioning and safety
  • Monitor patients during procedures and assist the radiologist
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
  • Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards related to imaging and patient care

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist with specialization in Interventional Radiology preferred
  • Experience in operating IR imaging equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with healthcare teams and patients
