Qualifications & Experience:

• ARRT certification (Radiography) required; post-primary certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) strongly preferred
• Minimum of one year experience as an IR Tech in a hospital or outpatient setting
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment
• Familiarity with sterile procedures and radiation safety protocols
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities
• Current BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment and perform interventional radiology procedures under physician guidance
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and rooms for patient procedures
• Monitor patient status, ensure comfort and safety during imaging and procedures
• Maintain accurate records, document procedures, and update electronic systems
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and all organizational policies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to deliver exceptional patient care
