Qualifications:

• Certified in Interventional Radiology Technology
• Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Demonstrated experience as an IR Tech in a clinical or hospital setting
• Proficient in the safe operation of radiology and fluoroscopy equipment
• Strong understanding of sterile technique, contrast administration, and radiation safety
• Ability to collaborate well within interdisciplinary medical teams

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for interventional procedures, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
• Assist physicians in a variety of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
• Monitor patients during procedures, prioritizing safety and accurate record keeping
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and adhere to regulatory standards for quality and safety
• Document procedures and communicate findings as directed
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean environment
