Travel Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Des Plaines, IL

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 - 17:30)
• Weekend rotation required
• 30-minute meal break
• On-call availability required; must be within a 30-minute radius, covering rotating 13.5-hour shifts as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an IR Tech
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences
• ARRT Certification
• IEMA Licensure
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of related experience
• At least 1 year of experience in an active interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP labs
• Bachelor of Science Degree

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-level imaging procedures in interventional settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Manage patient care before, during, and after procedures according to department protocols
• Accurately document and report findings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage and provide support during weekend shifts
