Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) | Detroit, Michigan

A highly skilled candidate is needed for a dynamic Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) role focused on providing patient-centered imaging services for a 13-week assignment. The position utilizes expertise in IR procedures and vascular interventions while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.

Schedule:

• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Includes participation in call schedule

Key Qualifications:

• Proven IR vascular experience required
• Proficiency using Epic electronic health records system
• Current ARRT certification preferred
• State licensure in radiologic technology (if applicable)
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct a full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures, including vascular cases, with precision and care
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality for diagnostic and interventional purposes
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols for patients and staff
• Prepare and assist clinicians as part of the IR team in facilitating procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation via Epic
• Respond rapidly and efficiently when on call
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout every stage of care
