Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Downers Grove, IL

Seeking a skilled professional with experience in Interventional Radiology to join a reputable healthcare environment. This contract opportunity is perfect for those with expertise in IR Technology who are ready to make a significant impact in patient care.

Schedule & Shift Details:

• 0hr day shifts (full-time, 40 hours per week)
• Monday through Friday schedule
• On-call requirements: 7-10 call shifts per month
• Weekend rotation: call only
• Holiday coverage: call only, 1 holiday per contract

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist
• Certification in IR Technology or equivalent field
• Familiarity with current interventional radiology equipment and procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to float to CT if accompanying their own patient
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality imaging studies and assist physicians during interventional procedures
• Prepare equipment and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal care
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency call-back situations as scheduled
• Ensure patient safety and satisfaction by adhering to protocols and demonstrating compassionate care
