Qualifications:
- ARRT (Radiography) certification required; IR certification strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years clinical IR Tech experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) through the American Heart Association
- Demonstrated expertise operating advanced imaging equipment (e.g., fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound guidance)
- Proficiency with sterile technique and assisting with interventional procedures
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and proper imaging protocol
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with established safety standards
- Provide compassionate care, monitoring patient comfort and status throughout procedures
- Document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records
- Assist radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff with procedure setup and sterile technique compliance
