This part-time contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons, contributing to complex vascular and neuro-interventional cases using cutting-edge imaging technology.
Schedule:
- 3 x 12-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
- On-call rotation: every 4th weekend and 1 day each week
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years’ experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardio-Vascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure
- NJ radiographic license (required)
- Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association-approved provider
- Completion of an accredited radiographic program, associate degree, or high school diploma/GED
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and closed-loop communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases
- Scrub side-by-side with specialty proceduralists and circulate complex products during procedures
- Operate floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopy units and power injectors for contrast media
- Set up procedural trays, maintaining sterile technique and infection prevention measures
- Document thoroughly in electronic medical records and transmit images to PACS/Sectra systems
- Manage groin post-intervention and contribute to a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
