Requirements:
- Current ARRT (R) certification
- Valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license
- BLS certification
- Demonstrated experience with IR and neurointerventional procedures
Schedule:
- 4x10-hour shifts
- 7:30 am–6:00 pm
- On call every other weekend
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for IR and neurointerventional procedures, including discograms, aspirations, angiography, and ablations
- Operate advanced imaging systems following established protocols
- Ensure safety and radiation protection standards are meticulously followed
- Deliver clinical support, both sterile and non-sterile, during tumor, epistaxis, and spinal lesion embolizations
- Guide and mentor residents and students, perform preceptor functions
- Perform equipment quality assurance and maintain supply inventory
- Handle procedure coding and utilize hospital information systems effectively
- Remain current on advancements by engaging in educational activities
- Uphold stringent confidentiality standards and hospital policies
