Requirements:

• Current ARRT (R) certification
• Valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience with IR and neurointerventional procedures

Schedule:

• 4x10-hour shifts
• 7:30 am–6:00 pm
• On call every other weekend

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for IR and neurointerventional procedures, including discograms, aspirations, angiography, and ablations
• Operate advanced imaging systems following established protocols
• Ensure safety and radiation protection standards are meticulously followed
• Deliver clinical support, both sterile and non-sterile, during tumor, epistaxis, and spinal lesion embolizations
• Guide and mentor residents and students, perform preceptor functions
• Perform equipment quality assurance and maintain supply inventory
• Handle procedure coding and utilize hospital information systems effectively
• Remain current on advancements by engaging in educational activities
• Uphold stringent confidentiality standards and hospital policies
