Step into an advanced interventional radiology team where your technical expertise directly enhances patient care. This contract assignment focuses on spine and neuro procedures, supporting a busy IR unit within a main hospital setting. With two state-of-the-art IR suites and a robust team of experienced techs and nurses, you’ll find a collaborative, energetic environment and opportunities to work with cutting-edge GE imaging equipment.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM shifts
  • On-call responsibilities may apply

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid VI or CVIR certification (required; essential for consideration)
  • Experience with complex IR procedures, including drains, lines, neuro interventions, air spheres, tumor ablation, and spine jack
  • Preferred: Neuro experience or background in a Thrombectomy center
  • Familiarity with Meditech EMR a plus
  • Reliable team player with strong communication skills and calm demeanor under pressure
  • Licensed to practice as an IR Tech as required by state and facility guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert imaging support for basic to advanced IR cases in collaboration with RNs and physicians
  • Ensure safe, effective utilization of GE technology in all procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech system
  • Contribute positively to department flow, including occasional on-call support
  • Deliver patient-centered care, prioritizing safety and comfort
