Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered and certified as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech
• Demonstrated experience with imaging procedures in a hospital or clinical environment
• Familiarity with the latest IR equipment and safety protocols
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare staff
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear explanations and addressing any concerns
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation and update electronic medical records as required
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards
