Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years’ experience as an IR Technologist
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NYS License, or eligibility to obtain before starting
• ARRT certification required
• VIR certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment professionally, consistently producing high-quality diagnostic results
• Instruct and prepare patients for examinations; assist radiologists during procedures
• Ensure all equipment functions properly and report malfunctions promptly
• Complete all assigned procedures efficiently; support team with room turnover and assist colleagues as needed
• Maintain strict medication security and patient confidentiality at all times
• Demonstrate competence in delivering healthcare across all age groups and in building effective interpersonal relationships
• Accurately use hospital information systems, RIS, and PACS
• Participate in performance improvement projects and maintain high standards of documentation
• Provide technical support to physicians and hospital staff, ensuring courteous and effective communication
