Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Florence, SC

Qualifications & Experience:

• ARRT (R) certification required; additional IR certification highly preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an IR Tech or in a similar imaging modality
• Proficiency with interventional radiology equipment and sterile technique
• Solid knowledge of radiation safety and contrast media administration
• BLS certification (current and active)
• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a patient-centric, team-based setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and equipment for interventional radiology procedures, maintaining sterile fields and ensuring patient safety throughout
• Operate a variety of imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, to support complex diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs, reporting changes to the medical team as needed
• Document all procedures, including patient information and equipment usage, in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Assist physicians during imaging-guided procedures and provide patients with education on post-procedure care
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control measures, and departmental guidelines
