Key Qualifications & Experience:

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, with advanced IR Tech skills required
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an IR Tech in an acute care setting
• Proficiency with current imaging equipment and procedural protocols in an interventional radiology suite
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety standards
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients
• BLS certification required (other advanced certifications preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during minimally invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality, accurate images
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, maintaining their safety and comfort throughout
• Document patient information and procedure details thoroughly and accurately in compliance with hospital protocols
• Monitor patients for reactions or complications during and after procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and radiation safety guidelines
