Key Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification or equivalent, with specialization in Interventional Radiology
  • Proven experience performing IR procedures in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic, fluoroscopic, and vascular intervention techniques
  • Familiarity with imaging safety protocols and contrast agent usage
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate recordkeeping
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate care while working efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication abilities to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and patients

Schedule:

  • 5:25 AM start
  • 12-hour shifts, nights on call as needed

Core Responsibilities:

  • Operate interventional radiology equipment to assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for scheduled and emergency cases
  • Monitor and ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist in image analysis as directed
  • Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards at all times
  • Support patient families with clear information regarding procedures and post-care
