Interventional Radiology Technologist - Gastonia, NC

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Weekend-focused position
• Holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures with accuracy and attention to safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment while ensuring proper documentation of procedures.
• Support physicians in a variety of interventional cases, demonstrating a thorough understanding of sterile technique and patient monitoring during procedures.
• Respond to on-call and call-back needs promptly, delivering high-quality care as emergencies arise.
• Float between departments as required to meet patient and facility needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and efficient workflow.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• ARRT certification with a specialization in Interventional Radiology (CV or VI preferred).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated experience as an IR Tech in a hospital or acute care environment.
• Proficient with interventional imaging equipment, sterile procedures, and patient safety practices.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and float between units as necessary.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work a weekend-based and holiday schedule, including on-call duties.
