Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) | Gastonia, North Carolina

Schedule & Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (36 hours/week)
• Weekend-based position
• On-call and call-back coverage required
• Holiday availability needed
• Rotation to different units/areas may be necessary (floating requirements)

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Experienced in performing Imaging and Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech duties
• Current certification/license as required by state and national boards
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating IR imaging equipment and assisting with a wide range of interventional procedures
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity settings and respond quickly to changes in patient needs
• Comfort with floating to different areas as needed and adapting to varying workflow demands

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures following safety and sterile technique protocols
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic outcomes
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff during procedures, providing technical assistance
• Adhere to department policies, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality patient care
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to urgent and emergent cases
• Support other radiology areas as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
