Step into an advanced imaging environment where your expertise as an IR Tech makes a difference. This contract position offers a dynamic schedule, primarily featuring four 10-hour shifts during weekdays (Monday through Friday), with the occasional fifth shift based on staffing needs. Shifts begin at 7:00 AM, offering 36-40 hours per week. The role includes on-call responsibilities totaling 7 days within a 5-week cycle, occasionally covering weekends if scheduled as on-call. If a holiday occurs during your contract, you may be assigned coverage for that day.

Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT licensure required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Interventional Radiology, including both peripheral and neuro procedures
  • Proficient in maintaining a safe and organized imaging suite
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced clinical environments

Responsibilities:

  • Operate advanced imaging equipment for interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to facilitate efficient workflow and exceptional patient care
  • Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and monitor for comfort and safety throughout
  • Maintain sterilization and proper functioning of all tools and machines
  • Document procedures and patient data accurately in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation, promptly responding to emergent cases as needed
