Interventional Radiology Technologist - Glen Allen, Virginia

Advance your imaging career by supporting an advanced Angiography/Special Procedures unit specializing in high-volume neuro interventional radiology cases. Schedule/Hours

• On-call required after hours and on weekends

Qualifications/Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital imaging experience required
• BLS certification (must be current)
• Demonstrated expertise in Neuro Interventional Radiology (Neuro IR)
• Familiarity with both Phillips and GE biplane equipment
• Ability to work efficiently within a small, agile team of RNs and technologists
• Adherence to dress code: navy scrubs

Role Responsibilities

• Perform a range of neuro interventional radiology imaging procedures, ensuring quality and patient safety
• Collaborate closely with a skilled team including 5 RNs and 4 technologists during day shifts
• Operate advanced imaging equipment, capturing high-resolution diagnostic images
• Ensure accurate patient documentation using Meditech
• Respond to after-hours and weekend on-call assignments as part of team rotation
• Participate in ongoing unit activities, regularly interfacing with physicians and nursing staff for optimal patient outcomes
