Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) - Goose Creek, South Carolina

Seeking an experienced Imaging professional to support Interventional Radiology services within a busy hospital environment. This contract assignment offers dynamic workdays with exposure to a wide range of interventional and neuro procedures. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work across all Medical Imaging departments, utilizing the Meditech documentation system.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour rotational shifts: 7:00am–3:30pm, 8:00am–4:30pm, and 9:00am until cases are completed (rotational call days).
• Rotational call on both weekdays and weekends.

Required Qualifications:

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing.
• Demonstrated experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Neuro Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• Competence in administering moderate sedation within imaging departments (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Radiology, and IR).
• Professionalism in a hospital imaging setting and ability to rotate between departments as needed.
• Adherence to a blue scrub dress code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care for patients undergoing interventional imaging procedures, including neuro IR.
• Ensure accurate and thorough documentation using Meditech.
• Partner with colleagues and ancillary staff to deliver exceptional imaging services.
• Rotate through all imaging areas based on departmental needs.
• Safely administer moderate sedation in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Respond effectively to call shifts and after-hours cases as scheduled.

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
