Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as an IR Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Valid state license or eligibility to obtain
- Experience operating imaging and interventional radiology equipment
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, procedural environments
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Current BLS certification (Advanced certifications are a plus)
- Prior experience in a hospital or surgical suite preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures, ensuring safe and effective use of all equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining steps, taking histories, and adhering to all privacy regulations
- Operate imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere strictly to infection control policies
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, contrast media usage, and procedural events
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Participate in ongoing education and training relevant to the role and advancements in IR technology

$2,541 - $2,688/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
