Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification as an IR Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Valid state license or eligibility to obtain
• Experience operating imaging and interventional radiology equipment
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and safety protocols
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, procedural environments
• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
• Current BLS certification (Advanced certifications are a plus)
• Prior experience in a hospital or surgical suite preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures, ensuring safe and effective use of all equipment
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining steps, taking histories, and adhering to all privacy regulations
• Operate imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere strictly to infection control policies
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, contrast media usage, and procedural events
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner
• Participate in ongoing education and training relevant to the role and advancements in IR technology
