Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Gray, GA

Advance your imaging career by supporting vital patient care functions as an Interventional Radiology Technologist on a contract basis. This position focuses on delivering specialized imaging services, requiring expertise in interventional radiology procedures and a high degree of attention to detail.

Schedule and Hours:

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• No floating required

Essential Qualifications:

• ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with IR specialty highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience as an IR Tech, including proficiency with interventional procedures and imaging equipment
• Ability to work independently under physician direction and as a collaborative team member
• Familiarity with on-call and call-back protocols
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient-care skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist with a variety of interventional radiology procedures according to physician protocols, ensuring patient safety throughout
• Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment
• Accurately document procedures and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, and provide clear post-procedure care instructions
• Assist with contrast administration and other technical tasks as required
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols at all times
• Participate in a weekend and holiday rotation as assigned
