Seeking a skilled Imaging Professional proficient in both IR (Interventional Radiology) and MRI technology. This contract opportunity provides a dynamic environment working alongside a collaborative team to deliver exceptional patient care and advanced diagnostic imaging.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, with credentials in either IR and/or MRI (or both).
  • Compliant with all state radiologic technologist licensure requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment and performing interventional radiology procedures.
  • Proficient with patient positioning, image quality assessment, and safety protocols.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and PACS.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to new technologies and protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized MRI imaging and interventional radiology procedures as ordered by physicians.
  • Prepare and position patients ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures.
  • Operate imaging machinery, following established protocols to obtain the highest quality images.
  • Monitor patient responses and provide patient education regarding procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with facility standards.
  • Adhere strictly to safety and infection control policies.
  • Trouble-shoot and report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly.
