Seeking a skilled Imaging Professional proficient in both IR (Interventional Radiology) and MRI technology. This contract opportunity provides a dynamic environment working alongside a collaborative team to deliver exceptional patient care and advanced diagnostic imaging.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, with credentials in either IR and/or MRI (or both).
- Compliant with all state radiologic technologist licensure requirements.
- Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment and performing interventional radiology procedures.
- Proficient with patient positioning, image quality assessment, and safety protocols.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and PACS.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to new technologies and protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized MRI imaging and interventional radiology procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Prepare and position patients ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures.
- Operate imaging machinery, following established protocols to obtain the highest quality images.
- Monitor patient responses and provide patient education regarding procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with facility standards.
- Adhere strictly to safety and infection control policies.
- Trouble-shoot and report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly.
