Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Hartford, CT

Take on a dynamic role supporting an advanced interventional radiology department in a contract position tailored for experienced IR professionals. This opportunity focuses on both vascular and neuro interventional procedures, providing essential services in a collaborative medical environment.

Schedule:

• 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Call rotation: every other weekend, plus rotating weekday call
• On call for one holiday if it falls within contract period

Desired Qualifications:

• Robust experience in both vascular and neuro interventional radiology cases—neuro interventional experience is a must
• Proficient as an IR Tech; adept at supporting complex procedures
• Willingness to train and adapt to various imaging platforms, including EPIC, Synapse, and Startrack (prior knowledge is beneficial but not required)
• Strong collaborative skills and professional communication with multidisciplinary teams
• ARRT certification and relevant state licensure required
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures with a focus on neuro and vascular cases
• Ensure optimal imaging quality while maintaining strict safety and infection control standards
• Prepare and maintain interventional suites, including equipment set-up and patient positioning
• Monitor patient status and provide pre- and post-procedural care as directed
• Accurately document procedures and patient information using electronic health records
• Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent cases outside regular hours
