Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) - Hartford, Connecticut

This contract opportunity offers a weekday schedule balanced with on-call responsibilities, ensuring a comprehensive clinical experience for skilled IR Technologists.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
• 40 hours per week
• On-call every other weekend
• Rotating weekday evening call (Monday–Friday)
• On-call coverage for one holiday if it falls within your contract period

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in both vascular and neuro interventional radiology is essential; neuro experience is a must
• Valid certification and credentials as an IR Technologist
• Skills in imaging for interventional radiology procedures
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
• Adaptability to new systems—training provided for EPIC, Synapse, and Startrack (prior proficiency not required)
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to safety, and effective communication
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring strict adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols
• Operate imaging equipment accurately, capturing high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff throughout all phases of vascular and neuro interventional cases
• Maintain precise and timely patient records using assigned software platforms
• Respond promptly and professionally to on-call requests, including evenings and weekends as scheduled
