Key Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography; IR certification preferred
- Valid state license as required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology or related imaging disciplines
- Proficient in operating imaging equipment and maintaining safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in imaging procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for Interventional Radiology procedures
- Operate digital imaging equipment to generate high-quality images for diagnostic and interventional purposes
- Assist physicians with a range of minimally invasive procedures, ensuring compliance with sterile techniques and safety policies
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Maintain accurate records, log procedures, and ensure timely archiving of images
- Participate in routine equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks
- Educate patients and families about procedures and provide support throughout their experience
