Key Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography; IR certification preferred
• Valid state license as required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology or related imaging disciplines
• Proficient in operating imaging equipment and maintaining safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in imaging procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for Interventional Radiology procedures
• Operate digital imaging equipment to generate high-quality images for diagnostic and interventional purposes
• Assist physicians with a range of minimally invasive procedures, ensuring compliance with sterile techniques and safety policies
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Maintain accurate records, log procedures, and ensure timely archiving of images
• Participate in routine equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks
• Educate patients and families about procedures and provide support throughout their experience
