Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) - Hazel Crest, Illinois

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
• Valid state licensure as applicable
• Proven experience in interventional radiology, including vascular and non-vascular procedures
• Proficiency with imaging modalities such as fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound
• Strong understanding of patient safety, sterile techniques, and radiation protection protocols
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients safely and accurately for all IR procedures
• Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic and procedural images
• Assist physicians during minimally invasive procedures, ensuring aseptic technique
• Maintain clear, precise patient records and document all relevant clinical information
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, observing for changes in condition
• Adhere to all facility policies, standards of care, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure safe use and regular maintenance of imaging equipment
• Participate in ongoing education, training, and quality improvement initiatives
