An opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician to provide specialized imaging support in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves facilitating precise diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating closely with medical teams to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate advanced imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures.
- Assist radiologists and other healthcare professionals during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and imaging quality to support effective diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Manage patient records and document procedural information accurately.
- Coordinate equipment setup and maintenance to support seamless procedural flow.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as an Interventional Radiology Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency with imaging technologies used in IR, including fluoroscopy and digital subtraction angiography.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiologic safety principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) preferred.
