Travel Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Hollywood, FL

Working on the Special Procedures unit means joining a close-knit group of eight staff members on the day shift, where clinical excellence and patient care go hand in hand. Exposure to a broad range of interventional radiology procedures, from Y90 and prostate embolism to tunneled catheter placements and thoracentesis/paracentesis, will allow you to deepen your expertise and gain practical experience highly valued in the field. Documentation is managed with the Meditech system, and readiness for call one week per month is required, adding further depth to your experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• ARRT and BLS certifications required; ACLS certification needed
• Prior experience with interventional radiology procedures preferred
• Previous travel experience advantageous
• Strong adaptability to fast-paced environments
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Professional, flexible, and willing to learn new practices

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate Philips IR Table and assist in a range of interventional radiology procedures
• Ensure accurate patient documentation within Meditech
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to support quality patient outcomes
• Participate in scheduled call one week per month
• Follow facility dress code; OR scrubs provided
