IR Tech in Huntersville, NC

Elevate patient care by driving cutting-edge diagnostic and interventional services in a specialized healthcare setting. Skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologists are needed to provide expert imaging support and patient-focused care during interventional procedures.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday (7:00 am – 7:00 pm)
• Weekend-based position
• Holiday coverage required

Qualifications:

• Certified IR Technologist
• Experience with interventional radiology procedures, imaging equipment, and patient safety protocols
• Knowledge of sterile technique and the ability to maintain aseptic environment
• BLS certification (current/active)
• Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a clinical team
• Willingness to float to different units as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment specific to IR cases
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to support patient care during interventional procedures
• Prepare and position patients for complex studies using strict aseptic techniques
• Monitor patient status and respond swiftly to patient needs and procedural developments
• Rotate on call based on department requirements and respond to call backs in a timely manner
• Accurately document each procedure and report findings to appropriate clinical personnel
• Support holiday staffing as required
