Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current certification/licensure as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (ARRT, RT(R), or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an IR Tech performing a wide range of interventional procedures
  • Strong proficiency in operating and maintaining imaging equipment specific to interventional radiology
  • Demonstrated understanding of sterile technique, radiation safety, and infection control practices
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist in conducting interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times
  • Operate specialized imaging equipment and devices, capturing high-quality images as requested by the referring physician
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond quickly to any changes during procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to deliver seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to procedures and patient records
  • Adhere to all relevant hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality assurance protocols
