Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) | Indian Trail, North Carolina

Schedule:

• 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekend rotation
• Closed on major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day)
• On-call required as dictated by departmental needs

Key Qualifications:

• Current and relevant experience as an IR Tech, with proven proficiency in interventional radiology imaging procedures
• Certification and licensure in good standing as required for IR Tech roles
• Strong grasp of patient safety and infection control standards in imaging settings
• Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other allied health professionals
• Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Comfort with a clinical interview and ability to provide references for past work

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology imaging procedures according to physician orders and best practices
• Prepare and assist patients before, during, and after imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting as needed
• Accurately document patient data and procedure details in medical records
• Adhere to departmental protocols and contribute to high standards of care
