Interventional Radiologic Technologist - Jefferson, GA

This contract assignment requires a proficient IR Tech with specific experience in neuro procedures, providing essential diagnostic and therapeutic support.

Schedule & Expectations:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 9-10 days of call per month required
• Availability needed during the week of December 29

Key Qualifications:

• Certified IR Tech with hands-on experience in neuro-interventional radiology
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to effectively support physicians during a variety of neuro and interventional procedures
• Detail-oriented and able to respond swiftly in emergent situations
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate equipment for neuro-interventional radiology exams and treatments
• Assist radiologists and other clinicians with diagnostic and interventional neuro procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
• Provide thorough patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring comfort and addressing concerns
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment issues and communicate effectively with technical support
• Accurately document procedures, patient information, and billing data as required
