Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification as an IR Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with an IR concentration
- Proven experience performing interventional radiologic procedures
- Comprehensive understanding of imaging equipment, radiation safety measures, and sterile techniques
- Ability to evaluate images for technical quality and assist with diagnostic procedures
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Compassionate patient interaction and clear communication skills
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment for interventional procedures
- Assist physicians in a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic vascular and nonvascular interventions
- Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records of procedures and patient information
- Follow strict infection control and equipment maintenance protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient outcomes
