This contract opportunity seeks a skilled IR Tech to provide essential imaging services during day shifts, working Monday through Friday with a consistent 40-hour workweek. Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift: 0hr start (40 hours weekly)
• Monday–Friday schedule
• On-call responsibilities: 7–10 call shifts per month
• Weekend and holiday coverage is on-call only (one holiday required per contract)

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an IR Tech in a hospital or similar healthcare setting is required
• Current certification and registration in radiological technology/interventional radiology
• Proficiency in operating advanced IR imaging equipment and handling related procedures
• Capable of floating to CT if accompanying patients as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration
• Ability to perform under pressure during on-call and call-back scenarios

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality, accurate IR imaging studies in compliance with established protocols
• Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients for diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
• Respond to on-call and call-back requests efficiently, ensuring continuous patient care
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain sterile field protocols
• Document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records
