Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - Kansas City, KS

This travel assignment offers ten-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, allowing ample downtime to discover the city’s famed barbecue, explore scenic parks, or catch live music. You’ll collaborate with diverse teams, encounter dynamic cases, and deepen your expertise using Siemens imaging equipment in a department managing up to 65 cases daily across seven IR rooms. Exposure to a siloed, high-volume unit will enhance your ability to adapt to a variety of leadership styles and clinical approaches, making your resume stand out for future opportunities.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts, 10 hours
• Monday through Friday
• No weekends or holidays required
• Occasional call as needed

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Interventional Radiology; scrub experience essential
• Prefer 3 years’ IR experience, particularly in large hospital settings
• Peripheral and neurovascular case experience highly valued
• ARRT Radiography and active Kansas State Board of Healing Arts credential (in hand)
• Flexibility to float to other IR areas as needed
• New graduates not considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub, circulate, and assist with a high volume of cases—including neck-down and some neuro procedures
• Operate Artis icono, Artis Q, Artis zee Siemens equipment (single-plane)
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Attend comprehensive orientation, including nursing sessions
