Key Qualifications:

• ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist with specialized training in Interventional Radiology
• Active, unrestricted state license as required for radiologic practice
• At least one year of hands-on experience in IR procedures and imaging technologies
• Detailed knowledge of radiation safety protocols and operation of fluoroscopy and other IR equipment
• Strong communication skills to interact with physicians, nursing staff, and patients
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, evolving clinical environments

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts; weekend and on-call rotation may be required depending on department needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment, instruments, and patient supplies for IR procedures
• Assist radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions including angiograms, biopsies, and catheter placements
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and optimal imaging results while prioritizing safety
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, responding proactively to needs or emergent situations
