This travel IR Tech role presents a chance not only to expand your technical abilities but also to diversify your clinical background. Working within a high-volume, fast-paced environment alongside a variety of professionals exposes you to a breadth of practices and leadership styles, fostering professional growth and widening your skill set for future opportunities.

Schedule:

  • Days, 10-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
  • Monday–Friday, with a rotating day off
  • No weekend or mandatory holiday work
  • On-call as needed
  • May float to Cambridge IR

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of IR experience with demonstrated scrub proficiency
  • Preferred: 3+ years in IR, experience in large hospital environments, peripheral and neurovascular procedures
  • Required: ARRT Radiography; Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (must have at submission)
  • New graduates are not eligible
  • Orientation: Every Mon & Tues, with additional nursing orientation during the week (bi-weekly)
  • Siemens system experience a plus (Artis icono, Artis Q, Artis zee)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide interventional radiology imaging using Siemens systems
  • Manage a siloed, high-energy unit averaging 60–65 cases per day
  • Support all hospital lines and outpatient services across 7 rooms
  • Perform procedures neck-down, with occasional light neuro coverage (e.g., thyroid biopsies)
  • Ensure timely credential submission prior to start
