Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Certification and licensure as a Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Demonstrated proficiency in interventional radiology procedures
• Familiarity with radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging technology
• Strong understanding of medical ethics and patient care standards
• Ability to recognize patient conditions to ensure appropriate care
• Experience training or supervising students or new staff preferred
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality imaging services using pulsed x-ray energy for diagnostic and treatment support
• Execute radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures and computer processing to generate diagnostic images for independent practitioners
• Maintain a professional demeanor in compliance with hospital policies and medical ethics
• Promote positive workplace relationships and serve as a role model for staff
• Proactively manage patient flow and assist with staff scheduling
• Collaborate with radiologists and leadership to establish protocols and maintain regulatory compliance
• Train new employees and students on equipment and protocols
• Verify orders and patient information; document all aspects of care electronically
• Perform venipuncture and assist with invasive procedures using safety protocols
• Monitor and safeguard patients throughout exams, applying ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure
