Role Overview: Leverage your Imaging – IR Tech skills by performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures that directly aid in clinical diagnosis and patient care. Utilize advanced equipment, collaborate with skilled radiologists and interdisciplinary staff, and contribute to a patient-focused environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of radiographic, fluoroscopic, and imaging techniques for interpretation by licensed practitioners
  • Maintain cooperative, professional relationships within the department and across teams
  • Exemplify professionalism in knowledge, appearance, and conduct
  • Uphold and implement policies in alignment with healthcare standards and regulatory changes
  • Plan and execute efficient patient flow and assist with staff scheduling
  • Support staff development through training and supervision of new employees and imaging students
  • Help establish and follow clinical protocols, collaborating with radiologists and management
  • Conduct patient order verification, documentation of care-related incidents, and manage peripheral venipuncture when needed
  • Ensure safety through consistent use of radiation protection and ALARA principles
  • Coordinate patient exams with nursing, transport units, and other departments

  • Certification as an Imaging – IR Tech with current/valid credentials
  • Demonstrated experience in radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
