This Interventional Radiology Tech opportunity places you at a large academic medical center recognized as a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. Exposure to complex neuro and body interventional cases in a high-acuity environment ensures you strengthen your clinical expertise while learning from accomplished neuro and body radiologists, surgeons, and advanced practice providers. Schedule/Hours:
- Options include: 3-12 hour shifts, 4-10 hour shifts (8:00am-6:30pm), or 5-8 hour shifts (8:00am-4:30pm)
- 3-4 call days per month; weekend call every 5th-6th weekend
- Must work holidays if scheduled; RTO requires managerial approval
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center (body/neuro)
- BLS, ARRT-R or RCIS required
- Comfortable scrubbing, circulating, and assisting in advanced IR procedures
- Experience supporting or precepting new grads a plus
Responsibilities:
- Assist with a diverse range of neuro and body IR procedures (stroke, embolization, Y-90, biopsies, and more)
- Operate Siemens, GE, Philips imaging systems, and GE US units
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic 8-room IR department
- Support efficient room turnover, paperwork, transport, and inventory
