Schedule:

  • 8-hour day shifts
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • Weekend rotation and holiday coverage may be required
  • On-call and call back participation as scheduled

Qualifications:

  • Certification and experience as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist
  • Proficiency in all aspects of IR procedures, with a strong understanding of imaging technology and patient care protocols
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification (or eligibility)
  • BLS certification required
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting performing IR procedures is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures under the direction of physicians, ensuring high quality imaging and patient safety at all times
  • Prepare, operate, and maintain IR imaging equipment
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures, supporting patient comfort and responding to any emergent situations if required
  • Safely administer contrast agents and assist in sterile field preparation
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to call backs as needed
