This opportunity is ideal for talented Imaging professionals passionate about Interventional Radiology (IR) who are eager to further their careers by working alongside diverse clinicians with a variety of leadership approaches. Schedule:
- Day Shifts: 4 x 10-hour shifts
- On-call: 1 weekday night every 4th week (Fri/Sat/Sun)
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently perform a variety of IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional procedures
- Prepare patients, maintain sterile technique, and ensure all necessary supplies/equipment are ready
- Accurately document procedures and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
- Collaborate with radiologists, vascular surgeons, cardiologists, and other staff
- Support patient and family education, including pre- and post-procedural care instructions
- Maintain departmental records, ensure equipment quality/safety, and participate in peer training
- Uphold quality and safety protocols, including accurate patient identification and consent verification
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT-CV, ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or RCIS certification (required)
- BLS certification (required), ACLS preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in interventional special procedures
- Demonstrated competency with advanced procedures, anatomy/pathology, and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and positive attitude
