Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate interventional radiology equipment efficiently and safely
- Assist physicians with image-guided procedures including angiograms, stent placements, and biopsies
- Adhere strictly to safety standards for patients and staff
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and proper technique
- Monitor patient reactions, maintain accurate documentation and update patient records
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions promptly
Qualifications:
- ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification, with current registry in Radiography and Interventional Radiology
- Valid state license (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Prior experience as an IR Tech, preferably in a hospital or busy clinical setting
