A healthcare opportunity has opened for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist specializing in diagnostic and invasive imaging procedures. This 13-week contract position offers daytime shifts, working five 8-hour days with a guaranteed 36 hours weekly. Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience as an IR Technologist
  • Advanced registry credentials such as CI, VI, or RCIS, or ARRT (R) certification required
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association mandatory
  • Proficiency in performing and assisting with diagnostic and invasive radiology procedures
  • Ability to operate and manage special procedure imaging equipment while ensuring radiation safety protocols
  • Skilled in administering contrast materials and reviewing medication reconciliation for contraindications
  • Competency in operating essential patient care equipment, including oxygen and suction devices

Responsibilities include supporting clinical teams by providing critical imaging assistance, obtaining high-quality diagnostic images, monitoring patient status throughout procedures, and adhering to safety standards. The role requires flexibility for weekend hours and call shifts as per facility demands.
