Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR) | Matthews, North Carolina

Exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise as an Imaging Interventional Radiology Technologist in a dynamic clinical environment. This contract position offers a rewarding schedule and the chance to collaborate with skilled healthcare professionals while delivering high-quality patient care.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
• Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• This is a dedicated weekend position

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist, with advanced certification in Interventional Radiology (IR) required
• Minimum of one year experience in an IR Tech role, with deep understanding of vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures
• Current BLS certification
• Excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure
• Willingness and flexibility to float to other imaging areas as needed

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging procedures and assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients using interventional radiology techniques
• Operate specialized imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times
• Rotate on-call duties and provide coverage as needed for call back scenarios
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain cohesive, high-quality patient care
• Adhere to infection control procedures and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in holiday coverage and adapt schedules as required by clinical needs
