Schedule/Hours

• 12-hour day shifts (7am–7pm)
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Weekend-focused position

Role Overview In this dynamic setting, you will assist in a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, demonstrate proficiency in operating imaging equipment, and maintain a safe, efficient environment for patients and staff. This position requires flexibility for floating to other units, participation in a weekend rotation, and availability for on-call and call-back duties, including some holiday coverage.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as an IR Tech in a healthcare environment
• Certification/registry in Radiologic Technology, with IR specialty
• In-depth knowledge of IR protocols, radiation safety, and sterile technique
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to float to other units and adapt to changing departmental needs
• Comfortable with weekend, on-call, and holiday scheduling

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures
• Skillfully operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment
• Monitor and ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and uphold regulatory standards
• Respond to urgent and on-call procedure requests as needed
