Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Matthews, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 am–7:00 pm
• Weekend-focused position with required rotation
• Holiday and on-call duties required
• Floating to other departments as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification and registration as an ARRT (R)(VI) or equivalent
• Prior experience as an IR Tech in a hospital, clinical, or ambulatory care setting
• Proficiency in operating digital imaging equipment, guiding procedures, and assisting physicians in interventional techniques
• BLS certification (current and active)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment

Essential Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate interventional radiology and imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Assist with sterile technique, patient positioning, and supply management during interventions
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and responses throughout imaging and procedures
• Document all imaging-related activity accurately in patient records and hospital systems
• Respond promptly to call back and on-call requests as scheduled
• Support different units as necessary to ensure consistent, quality care facility-wide
