  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, with a specialty in Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • State licensure or certification, as applicable
  • Proven experience working as an IR Tech in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures, protocols, and safety standards
  • Excellent communication, organization, and patient care skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and efficiently manage multiple tasks

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment and monitor quality, ensuring clear images for accurate diagnosis and treatment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff for optimal patient outcomes and smooth workflow
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to regulatory and facility policies on radiation safety and infection control
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures and aftercare instructions
  • Perform regular equipment checks and coordinate with biomedical staff for maintenance
