Key Skills and Experience:

• ARRT certification in Radiography and Interventional Radiology (or equivalent recognized credential)
• Proven experience as an IR Tech, with a strong command of interventional radiology procedures
• Demonstrated proficiency operating imaging equipment and maintaining safety protocols
• Knowledgeable in aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Exceptional attention to detail and patient-focused communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures as directed by physicians
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and optimal image quality for all procedures
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures by preparing contrast materials, catheters, and other equipment
• Monitor patients’ conditions and provide compassionate support before, during, and after procedures
• Adhere to all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and infection control guidelines
• Document procedures and maintain thorough, accurate patient records
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
