Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) | Matthews, North Carolina

Step into a rewarding imaging position focused on delivering exceptional patient care within an advanced Interventional Radiology (IR) environment. This full-time, contract role offers the chance to hone your IR Tech skills alongside a dedicated clinical team.

Schedule:

• 8-hour day shifts: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week
• No weekend rotation required
• Closed on major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day
• On-call requirements are dependent upon department needs; no floating responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification and/or licensure as an IR Tech
• Proven experience in performing a range of Interventional Radiology imaging procedures
• Advanced knowledge of imaging safety protocols, patient positioning, and sterile techniques
• Comfortable using imaging equipment and radiology information systems
• Strong attention to detail, patient focus, and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and equipment for IR procedures, ensuring both safety and comfort
• Operate complex imaging machinery in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians and fellow clinical staff to deliver optimal imaging guidance during procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection-prevention standards
• Document all procedures and outcomes accurately in patient records
• Remain flexible and responsive to changes in departmental demands, including on-call needs as necessary
