Interventional Radiology Tech | Meriden, Connecticut

Harness your expertise in interventional radiology in a dynamic hospital setting as an IR Tech on a contract basis. This critical role offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology supporting both vascular and neuro interventional cases. Neuro experience is essential for this position.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (40 hours/week)
• On-call duties every other weekend and on a rotating basis Monday through Friday
• On-call one holiday if it falls during the contract period

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Imaging IR Tech with a strong focus on both vascular and neuro interventional procedures
• Neuro interventional experience is required and highly valued
• Comfort working in high-acuity situations and as part of a collaborative clinical team
• Willingness to be cross-trained and proficient in hospital information systems (EPIC, Synapse, Startrack); prior expertise in these systems is not necessary as training will be provided
• Flexibility to cover regular shifts and on-call requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality interventional radiology procedures for both vascular and neuro cases with precision and attention to patient safety
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Operate imaging equipment, maintain accurate patient records, and adhere to infection control protocols
• Participate in rotating call coverage, ensuring support for urgent procedures when needed
