Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Monroe, GA

Seeking a skilled Imaging Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) for a contract opportunity. This position offers a dynamic schedule and the chance to contribute to high-quality patient care in a reputable healthcare facility.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 9 to 10 days of on-call coverage per month
• Availability required during the week of 12/29

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in Interventional Radiology Tech duties
• Required prior experience with Neuro Interventional Radiology procedures
• Ability to work on-call shifts as needed
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with physicians, nurses, and other technologists

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist in neuro and general Interventional Radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal imaging results
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain strict adherence to safety protocols
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in accordance with facility protocols
• Provide compassionate support to patients before, during, and after procedures
• Cooperate effectively with radiologists and other medical staff to facilitate workflow and efficiency
• Participate in required on-call rotation, responding promptly to emergent imaging needs
